Looking for something fun to do with the kids this weekend?  Why not head up to the Como Park Zoo Boo (Oct. 20 – 21 and 26-28 from 4.30-7.30).  The Como Park Zoo of Saint Paul will be hosting their 25th annual Zoo Boo event.  This is a non-scary family fun event for kids and adults of all ages.   The Como Park Zoo will be transformed into a fairytale land with all sorts of costumed characters.

Como Park Electric Car Charging Station

Como Park, MN is proud to announce the new addition to the neighborhood – Electric Car Charging Stations. ”" In effort to Go Green, there are now 2 Electric Car Charging stations located in Como Park.  One of the Car Charging Stations can be found on the South Parking lot of the Como Lakeside Pavilion and off Jessamine Ave by McMurray Fields.  The Stations are scheduled to be completed and available for use by May, following a final inspection by Xcel Energy.

The cost to charge your Electric Car is $1.00 per hour of charging.  What better way to get some exercise in while waiting for your car to charge by walking around Como Lake.

Como Lake is one of the nicest areas in Como Park, why not take a quick Thanksgiving day jog around the lake?   The Giving Thanks 5k starts bright and early at 9am (check in starts at 7.45am).  Click here for more details.

Race Schedule:

7 AM – CC Race Event Worker (CCREW) Volunteers set up course, finish line & registration area.

7:45 AM – Pre-registered Check-in, shirt & bib # pick-up & Race Day registration opens

8:50 AM – Registration Closes & Start Line Assembles for Pre-race Announcements

9 AM – START!

Post race refreshments await participants on historic Como Lake promenade overlooking the lake

10:30 AM – CCREW begins clean-up
