Our latest market data for the Twin Cities area shows that last week New Listings were DOWN 11.8% from last year and for the last three months, Active Listings were DOWN 28.3% which is a 
major shift in the market place.
Pending Sales (sold but not closed) last week were UP 18.9% from last year and for the last three months were UP 22.9%.
With interest rates at a 60 year low (click here for a full article), average home prices back to the year 2000 and the shrinking inventory of homes for sale we are continuing to see multiple offers in the under $250,000 price range.
As I reported last week, April’s median and average sales prices rose 12.4% and 9.7% which is the 3rd straight month in a row with rising prices. Hopefully with low inventory, low interest rates and an improving job market we are seeing the end of future declining home prices (see article to right).
