How about putting a champ in YOUR corner?
When you’re looking for a real estate professional to help you, know that above all else good agents put their clients first.
- Educate you about YOUR market. Homes listed for sale in Roseville are going to be different than properties listed for sale in Arden Hills. Every market is different to a degree. Generalizations can be made on the Twin Cities Housing Market but that only focuses on a macro overview rather than a micro.
- Analyze YOUR wants and needs. Keep in mind this is going to be your home. No one else. Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother are more than likely not going to be living there. Make sure you know what you want and what is best for your family.
- Guide you to homes that fit YOUR criteria. Part of your agents job will be to take the information given from a wants and needs stand point and find you your dream home in the Twin Cities area.
- Coordinate the work of other needed professionals. Buying a home does have a lot of moving parts. An experienced Realtor will be able to coordinate with loan officers, inspectors, appraisers, title company, contractors and so on. The best Realtor’s will have a solid network of affiliates that they already know and trust to help with their client’s needs.
- Negotiate on YOUR behalf. When you have found YOUR dream home it is time to get the best deal. Experienced agents will know how to position and structure an offer to increase your chances of getting a great deal. Often, negotiations can go back and forth rather quickly if a traditional seller is involved but in the event of a bank owned property, days can go by without an answer.
- Check and double-check paperwork and deadlines. When buying a home in Saint Paul, Minneapolis or any of the surrounding communities there is a lot of paperwork. Realtors that do a fair amount of real estate transactions per year will more than likely have administrative support to help with the details. Missed dates and unsigned paperwork can cost thousands down the road.
- Solve any problems that may arise. No two transactions in Minnesota Real Estate are ever the same. Whether it is calling the MN Department of Health to make sure a Well has been sealed to structural issues that have come up from the inspection. Hiring an experienced agent means they will be able to use solutions and creative problem solving from previous experiences.
